Ms. Michels has extensive experience in litigation involving business torts, commercial litigation, employment law, products liability defense, commercial bankruptcy, and constitutional law. Ms. Michels has been principally responsible for preparing complex business tort cases for trial including all stages of discovery, discovery disputes, pretrial motions, and jury charges.

REPRESENTATIVE ENGAGEMENTS:

Most recently, Ms. Michel's practice focused on product liability defense as a member of a national coordinating counsel team for a large corporation with asbestos litigation nationwide. Ms. Michels also received 40 hours of mediation training in Maryland which qualified her to be a mediator for cases filed in the Maryland Circuit Courts. She also received training to become a "Day of Trial" mediator for the District Courts in Montgomery County, Maryland.
